The founders of Globlet Co.,
Ltd. Are Khun Jatupol Tanaruthai (CEO) and
Khun Prasert Chutivaraporn (a leading real estate
businessman in Thailand). Khun Jatupol has been involved in
e-Business and Online Advertising, especially Search Engine
Marketing, since 1997, which was before Google was founded.
1995 Khun Jatupol
graduated from the Telecommunications Major, Faculty of Engineering,
King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang.
1998 Khun Jatupol
received the “Search Engine Optimization”
certificate from Coastal Carolina University, USA.
2000 Khun Jatupol
wrote the first Thai book on Online Marketing called "To
be No.1 in e-Business by Web Promotion” which
remained among the bestsellers and was very well-received by
readers. The response was so overwhelming that he decided to
set up an Online Advertising business focused on Search Engine
Marketing since such service was not available in Thailand at
that time. In the same year, he founded an Online Advertising
Agency (the first in Thailand) under the name Online
Advertising Co., Ltd. (www.webpromotion2000.com).
It drew much attention from clients – both government organizations
and public corporations.
2003 He set up
another business with Khun Presert Chutivaraporn - 200 more travel network web sites. These web sites offered hotel
reservations service in the USA and Europe. The business is
still extremely successful at present.
2005 Online
Advertising Co., Ltd. changed its name to Globlet
Co., Ltd. and in the same year Khun Jatupol
was the first person in Thailand to receive the Google
Advertising Professional status. By the end
of October 2006, it is expected that two more of Globlet’s team
will receive this status as well. The total number of Google
Advertising Professionals working at Globlet
will increase to 5 before the end of 2006.
Khun Jatupol is
a consultant in Search Engine Marketing for Thailand’s leading
travel web sites - HotelThailand.com and eThaiHotel.com.
Khun Jatupol has
been a special lecturer on Online Marketing for the Department
Of Business Development, Thammasat University, Rangsit University,
Thai Cement, MWeb (Thailand), and many other companies listed
in the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
Khun Jatupol is
a regular lecturere for Thaiventure.com on Advanced Search Engine
Optimization (SEO), Google AdWords and Yahoo! Search Marketing.
Khun Jatupol was
the author and the editor of “Search
Engine Marketing 2.0” released in June 2006
and the book is currently among the bestsellers at SE-ED, B2S
and many other leading bookstores.
